Extra training can save lives!!

Friday, March 7th, 2008

I read with interest how an air traffic controller who allowed two passenger planes come within 17 seconds of disaster is back in his job. The incident report confirmed that the event was the result of a human error. You will be glad to learn that this individual underwent extra training before being placed back in the line of fire.

I guess this highlights that training can work (we hope) and everyone deserves a second chance.
